The facts about menopause and Black women

Session Sponsor:

Did you know that Black women tend to reach menopause earlier and experience more severe symptoms compared to White women?

Join us as we demystify perimenopause & menopause with a focus on managing symptoms and treatment options, including hormone therapy. We will also dig into how the different stages of menopause can impact a wide range of health and lifestyle areas.

Prevention is Power:
Advocacy, access and action

Aimed at empowering Black women with health and wellness information tailored specifically to them, our experts are diving deep into chronic disease prevention, healthy living & self-advocacy. We will explore the interconnections between cancer prevention and screening, mental health and wellness, access and health system navigation and how to be your own health champion.

Health experts will take a deep dive into systemic inequities within healthcare and provide insightful information that directly impacts Black women’s journeys throughout the healthcare system.
