Did you know that Black women tend to reach menopause earlier and experience more severe symptoms compared to White women?
Join us as we demystify perimenopause & menopause with a focus on managing symptoms and treatment options, including hormone therapy. We will also dig into how the different stages of menopause can impact a wide range of health and lifestyle areas.
Aimed at empowering Black women with health and wellness information tailored specifically to them, our experts are diving deep into chronic disease prevention, healthy living & self-advocacy. We will explore the interconnections between cancer prevention and screening, mental health and wellness, access and health system navigation and how to be your own health champion.
Ticket holders will receive access to an evening of education and networking. Health experts will take a deep dive into systemic inequities within healthcare and provide insightful information that directly impacts Black women’s journeys throughout the healthcare system.
